Yemen Armed Forces Seize Third Israeli Ship in the Red Sea
The Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully seized a third ship entering the Red Sea, which is reportedly owned by Israeli businessman Eyal Ofer.
The attackers then seized the Liberian-flagged Central Park, run by Zodiac Maritime in the Gulf of Aden.
“Our priority is the safety of our 22 crew onboard,” Zodiac said in a statement. “The Turkish-captained vessel has a multinational crew consisting of Russian, Vietnamese, Bulgarian, Indian, Georgian and Filipino nationals. The vessel is carrying a full cargo of phosphoric acid.”
The London-Based Zodiac Maritime is reportedly part of Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Group.
Following Yemen’s Declaration of War against the Israeli regime, which has now killed over 14,000 Palestinians (other sources report 20,000 Palestinians including those who were unaccounted for) in less than 50 days, Yemen has reportedly seized three Israeli ships thus far.
Yemen has reported that it belongs to an “Axis of Resistan.ce” alongside Lebanon and Iran and will be monitoring the sea for any Israeli activity.
