US Speaker Announces Bill to Send Israel $17.6 Billion in Emergency Aid

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson has announced to send $17.6 billion in emergency aid to the Israeli regime.

The bill does not include any other spending cuts or policies, aiming to merge aid for the Israeli regime with financial support for Ukraine and for implementing new border security and immigration laws.

Johnson then condemned the Senate’s “slow progress and the lack of collaboration with the House, urgently requiring it to support the Israeli regime.”

The bill, however, will be brought on by the Republican Rep. Ken Calvert, focusing primarily on military aid for Israel and also supports U.S. military forces in the region.
