Three Palestinian Men Shot in Vermont in Possible Hate Crime
Three Palestinian men wearing the symbolic Keffiyeh Palestinian scarf were shot in Burlington, Vermont on Saturday November 26. The men were on their way to a family dinner as reported by Husam Zomlot, the head of the Palestinian Mission to the UK. “They are critically injured,” he stated on his X account.
Zolmot cited the attack as a possible hate crime following his reference of 6-year-old Wadea Al-Fayoume, who was atrociously stabbed to death by the house’s landlord six weeks ago in Illinois.
The victims are all 20 year old students who have survived the shooting. However two of them are currently in the ICU and one “has sustained very critical and serious injuries,” according to the Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC).
