Russia Mourns the Loss of 137 People Killed by ISIS Terror Attack

Russia is mourning the terror attack claimed by ISIS that shook the nation’s capital in what is now the deadliest attack in Moscow in the last two decades.

President Vladimir Putin called a national day of mourning on Sunday, March 24, 2024 after vowing to punish the ones behind the attack, which killed 137 people including 3 children and injured more than 150.

“I express my deep, sincere condolences to all those who lost their loved ones,” Putin said. “The whole country and our entire people are grieving with you.”

People were spotted laying flowers at Crocus City Hall, the spot where four armed men barged and opened fire, killing dozens of people.

This was the deadliest attack on the world’s largest country since 2004, when 1000 people were killed in the Beslan school siege.
