Netanyahu Restricts Access for Palestinians to Visit Al Aqsa Mosque During Ramadan

The Israeli Regime’s prime minister Benjamin Nethanyahu has been accused of

sparking tensions for limiting the entry of Palestinian citizens of the Israeli regime (Arab Israelis) to Al-Aqsa mosque during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan this year.

Netanyahu’s move is in line with his far-right National Security Minister Ben-Gvir who has always been in favor of restricting Palestinians from entering the holy site.

The Al-Aqsa mosque, revered by adherents of Abrahamic faiths, has been a long-standing point of contention with the Israeli regime repeatedly abusing the Palestinians’ rights to access the mosque.

According to Israeli sources, the Palestinian citizens of the Israeli entity will be restricted according to age and residential areas, citing that a limited number of older worshipers over the age of 60 will be allowed in.
