Israel’s Largest Weapon Company Loses Sole Recruiters Company in Britain
After weeks of persistent direct action by Pro-P@lestine activists, the only recruiters for the British operations of Israeli Regime’s largest weapons company, Elbit Systems, have confirmed via email to Palestine Action that they have now officially terminated their association with Elbit on Wednesday November 29, 2023.
For the last two months, activists in the Palestine Action network have effectively disrupted iO Associates at their premises across the country, to further obstruct their means of roles for Israel’s War Machine.
iO Associates reportedly recruited engineers, software developers, and finance staff for positions throughout the sites of the British Branch of the Israeli Regime’s largest weapons company, Elbit Systems. Elbit is known to be the largest supplier to the Occupation Forces, providing most of its drones, munitions, surveillance gear, and parts for its tanks, jets, and precision missiles to the Israeli Regine’s Military.
The Zionist Entity’s killer drone parts are also specially manufactured in Britain alongside their weapons sights, tank parts, and more, which are then exported to the Occupation territory in masses yearly.
iO’s offices were soon stormed and occupied in Manchester on September 1, 2023 and later on October 7, 2023 the day that marked the beginning of the Israeli Regime’s aggression against besieged Gaza Strip.
The activists allegedly painted iO offices red on October 9 in London, Reading, and Manchester. They were then compelled to vacate their Manchester offices from the 11 of October, after the Youth Front For Palestine barged into their offices, and were even targeted in Edinburgh twice, on the 11 and 17 of October.
Following the multiple evacuations of their own offices, losing their reputation online, and even losing staff who opposed their arms trade partnership, iO Associates, likely under mounting pressure, ceased ties with Israel’s weapons trade.
