Yemeni Armed Forces Down the Deadly $30 Million US MQ-9 Reaper With Locally Made Missile
The Yemeni Armed Forces are gaining momentum in their ongoing pro-Palestine maritime war against the Israeli Regime in their downing of a US MQ-9 Reaper drone using a locally-made surface-to air-missile.
The MQ-9 is a heavy and modern aircraft and is worth a staggering $30 million. Yemen has already downed 6 drones since Oct 7, 2023, vowing to continue attacking Israeli linked and Israeli bound ships, as well as the Pro-Israeli US-UK retaliatory attacks in Yemen’s territorial waters until the Israeli regime ends its ongoing brutal war on Gaza.
“The Yemeni Armed Forces, by the grace of Allah, continue to develop their defensive capabilities to confront the American-British aggression and all hostile forces,” the Yemeni Armed Forces said on Wednesday.
Over the past two months, the Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully attacked three American MQ-9 drones, which has become a cause of concern for the US and “Israel” on the escalation of Yemen’s capabilities. As it is not new for the Yemeni Resistance to down deadly and expensive US drones, it is new for the drone to be in near-perfect condition based on video footage the group shared.
According to media sources, the MQ-9 Reaper is speculated to be transferred to Iran for examination and reverse engineering.
