Only Tens of Thousands March for Israel in D.C., Not 300,000

“March for Israel” claimed to have nearly 300,000 attendees marching in D.C, calling it the “largest march in U.S. history.” Twitter corrected the claims warning readers “the estimate is likely high.” Social media users such as Talia Jane show that mathematically, the numbers cannot be more than 32,408 people present based on square footage of area occupied.

The photographs from the rally also show a lack of diversity in the crowds, as well as posters that seem to be inciting genocide such as “Let Israel finish the job.”

Most major outlets livestreamed the event, as compared to the blackout on November 4, 2023 which saw over 300,000 Americans marching for Palestine in D.C.
