Nairobi Arrests Pro-Palestinian Protesters During German Foreign Minister’s Visit

Human rights activists in Kenya were attacked with tear gas for holding a protest in solidarity with Palestinians on Thursday Jan. 25.

Despite receiving a permit, the protest was dispersed in the country’s capital, Nairobi, and some activists were also arrested.

The protest took place around the same time the German foreign minister visited the country on a four-day tour of Africa.

Germany’s stance in support of the Israeli Regime’s onslaught on G@za through officially supplying the Israeli regime with arms was likely the cause of the pro-Palestinian protests.
