Israel to Intensify War on Southern Gaza with Full Support of the United States

The Israeli regime vows to “intensify and continue” in what they call its “military operation” in the Southern Gaza Strip until the Palestinian Resistance leadership is found and the 120 hostages held in Gaza are returned to the occupation entity, as stated by the regime’s defense Minister Yoav Gallant in his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Tel Aviv on Tuesday Jan. 9.

“An important meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken,” Gallant wrote in a post on X following the tête-à-tête.

“We are determined to complete the war goals and strengthen regional stability in the Middle East by dismantling Ham.as in the south and changing the security situation in the north,” he added, the letter a reference to the ongoing attacks by the Lebanese Resistance.

Gallant then stated that the regime’s top priority is to return the colonial Israeli squatters “to their homes.”

He further added that the occupation regime “prefers to achieve these goals via diplomatic understandings, yet is also preparing military alternatives.”

Gallant appreciated Blinken and the US for their “commitment to the security of Israel and for their support during this war.”

The US backed Israeli war on Gaza has killed more than 23,000 people in a span of 95 days.
