Israel Flattens Jabalia Residential Area with 6 US Bombs, Killing Over 400
Air raids from the Israeli regime have entirely flattened the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza and thoroughly damaged the shelter, killing or wounding over 400 people and flattening over 20 homes erupting the residential and densely populated area into chaos.
“These buildings house hundreds of citizens. The occupation’s air force destroyed this district with six US-made bombs. It is the latest massacre caused by Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip,” spokesman Iyad al-Bazum told reporters outside of a hospital in Khan Younis.
It will likely take weeks to save and pull people that are trapped underneath the rubble due to the magnitude of the damage causes by Israel’s airstrikes.
Jabalia resident Ragheb Aqal said, “I went and saw the destruction … homes buried under the rubble and body parts and martyrs and wounded in huge numbers,” the 41-year-old told AFP.
“There’s no exaggeration when they talk about hundreds of martyrs and those wounded.
People were still “transporting children, women and elderly,” he added.
The war on Israel against Palestine has led to the deaths of over 8,000 people, mostly children and women and over 20,000 injured. Israel has also denied access to food, water, fuel and medicine, pushing the besieged Gaza strip to the brink of collapse.
