American Protesters Gather Outside the Oscars to Demand for a Ceasefire, Hit with Police Batons
American protestors made it all the way to the Oscars Red Carpet, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza where the “Israeli” Regime’s ongoing onslaught has now ki.lled more than 30,000 people, including over 12,000 children, since Oct. 7, 2023.
According to Western media sources, the pro-Palestinian protest managed to close down a main road, adjacent to the theater and even delayed some high profile actors’ arrival at the Academy Awaeds ceremony. Later that evening, the protestors flocked to the red carpet as several social media users posted videos showing police wielding batons against the peaceful protestors.
“We’re calling for an immediate, permanent ceasefire in Gaza,” Actor Ramy Youssef told Variety on the red carpet. “We’re calling for peace and lasting justice for the people of Palestine. I think it’s a universal message of ‘Let’s stop killing kids. Let’s not be part of more war.”
