Venezuelan Foreign Minister Says CIA is Planning to Assassinate President Nicolas Maduro
After Biden national security aide John Kirby criticized the Venezuelan government over alleged human rights violations, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister posted, “The #CIA and the DEA have been conspiring from #Miami and #Colombia, together with opponents of the Venezuelan extreme right, to assassinate President Nicolas Maduro, the Minister Vladimir Padrino, and the Governor Freddy Bernal, among others, as well as to destabilize our country, through violence and terrorist assaults on military units, as part of a long list of extremist atrocities.”
He added, “Today, the #US Government comes out to protect the terrorists, who have confessed to their crimes and the orders they received to harm our people. They are accomplices … in the acts of terrorism and interventionism in #Venezuela.”
