Lebanon Retaliates with Great Force Over Israel’s Killing of Four Lebanese Resistance Military Personnel

A barrage of rockets were shot from Lebanon towards northern “Israel” on Wednesday June 12, just hours after Israeli airstrikes killed four officials from the Lebanese Resistance, including a senior military commander.

According to the Israeli army, around 90 projectiles were detected while claiming that some were intercepted and that a number of fires were caused by the strikes.

The Senior military commander of the Lebanese Resistance, Taleb Sami Abdullah, 55, was the senior topmost commander killed since Oct. 7, 2023, the day that marked the beginning of the Israeli regime’s ongoing onslaught in Gaza along with intense fire exchange between the Lebanese Resistance and the Israeli army since the group’s retaliatory attacks on “Israel” in solidarity with Palestine and the Palestinian Resistance.

Al-Manar Tv reported that rockets were being fired from south Lebanon into northern Israel as sirens blared across northern Israel, as claimed by Israeli media.

Palestinian Resistance leader, Talib Sami Abdallah, expressed his condolences in a statement of the fallen Lebanese Resistance Military Personnel.

“With complete faith, surrender, and certainty in Allah, we mourn in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) the martyrdom of the heroic martyr, Talib Sami Abdullah, the great leader in the Islamic Resistance of Hezbollah. He attained martyrdom in a treacherous Zionist airstrike on a building in the village of Jouwayya yesterday, defending and supporting our people’s struggle in the tempest of Al-Aqsa. He lived a life full of fight, striking the Zionist enemy and targeting its strongholds in southern Lebanon and northern occupied Palestine,” Abdallah said in a statement.

“As we mourn the great martyr, Talib Sami Abdullah, who attained martyrdom on the path of liberating Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa, let us remember and highly appreciate the efforts, participation, and support of our brothers in Hez.bollah and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon during the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood. Let us also pay tribute to all the righteous martyrs whose blood has merged in support of our people in the Gaza Strip, in defense of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa, and in response to the brutal Zionist aggression. We affirm that this pure blood will be a curse haunting this occupation and its fascist army, inspiring our people and our nation to further resistance and sacrifices, and paving our way towards the liberation of our land and holy sites, “ he added.

The Israeli regime has killed over 400 people in Lebanon, most of them members of the Lebanese resistance, and over 70 civilians.
