Kamala Harris Asked to Invoke 25th Amendment Against Biden Following Claims that He is “Mentally Unfit”
West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey has demanded Vice U.S Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment against President Joe Biden, following claims that the president has been deemed physically unable to perform the duties of his job.
Morrisey expressed concern on Biden’s mental health, calling it a serious concern after a 388-page special counsel report was released last week which allegedly described the president as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Biden has vehemently denied the claims.
“President Biden’s cognitive decline is of great concern to Americans, especially during these times that our nation is facing crisis after crisis both here and abroad,” Morrisey wrote. “We need a president who is mentally fit.”
The Republican attorney general described the report “paints a clear picture of a President who is not up for the job.”
The report followed a “yearlong probe into classified documents from Biden’s time as vice president that were found at his old office and his private home in Delaware.”
The 25th Amendment was passed by Congress in 1965 in a quest to clarify presidential selection after the assassination of former President Kennedy.
