Iran’s Alborz Warship Navigates into Red Sea
Iran’s Alborz warship has officially passed through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and navigated into the Red Sea in the wake of growing tensions in the region.
According to Iranian Media sources, Iranian warships have been operating in open waters since 2009 in a quest to secure shipping lines.
In November 2022, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei had also stressed to Iranian commanders the need for the Navy to bolster and maintain its presence in international waters.
Following Yemen’s Pro-Palestine maritime war in the Red Sea against the Israeli Regime, the Yemen armed forces have warned the US that Washington will bear the consequences of its deadly attack by the US Navy on Yemeni boats.
The stern warning was issued the same day the US navy helicopters attacked four Yemeni boats, sinking three of them and killing ten Yemeni Servicemen.
