Labor Strike Begins in Israel Demanding Govt to Secure Release of Captives

Today’s war updates:

🔹 A labor strike began in Israel following the Histadrut union’s demand for the government to secure the release of captives in Ga-za. Ben Gurion Airport ceased operations at 8:00 AM Monday. The duration of the strike remains uncertain.

🔹 US President Joe Biden is close to proposing a final captive deal regarding Ga-za and criticized Israeli PM Netanyahu for not taking enough action to secure such an agreement.

🔹 The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported 29 martyrs and 121 injured in the West Bank since last Wednesday, with a total of 681 martyrs and 5,700 injured since 7 October.

🔹 The Israeli military continues to destroy infrastructure in Jen-in camp amid its large-scale raid on the West Bank, now in its sixth day.  

🔹 A major Israeli military operation resumed in Tulkarem Camp, following earlier withdrawal, with further infrastructure destruction.

🔹 Israel bombed a pastry stall in front of Al-Fakhoura School in Jabalia Camp, Ga-za, killing at least 8 people.

🔹 Several rockets impacted the Western Galilee, from Leba-non, according to Israeli media.

🔹 An Israeli drone strike in Naqoura, southern Leba-non, killed two civilians in a vehicle belonging to a cleaning company contracted by UNIFIL.
