Grand Ayatollah Sistani Releases Statement Calling for ‘Every Possible Effort to Stop Ongoing Barbaric Aggression’ on Lebanon

🔹 Israeli forces launched over 1,600 airstrikes on southern Lebanon and Beqaa on Monday, killing 558 people so far, including 55 children and 94 woman, and injuring more than 1,835. Israel continued its air raids on Tuesday, targeting a residential building in Beirut’s Dahiya, killing 6 so far as details continue to emerge.
🔹 Hezb-ollah conducted multiple operations targeting Israeli military sites, including bases in northern occupied Palestine, the Golan Heights, and the Haifa region, with hundreds of rockets and missiles since Israel began its wide-scale bombardment on Lebanon yesterday, including 105 rockets at northern Israel in response to Israel’s Tuesday bombing of Beirut’s southern suburb.
🔹At least 14 international airports suspend flights to and from Israel.
🔹 The US Department of Defense is deploying additional troops to West Asia amid escalating Israeli attacks in the region.
🔹 The UN has called for an immediate halt to the Israeli escalation in Lebanon, condemning the ongoing violence and bombing.
🔹 Palestinian journalists in Gaza organized a protest against Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
